Gerald (Gerry)Glaser held key IT positions in several prominent Silicon Valley companies during his 40-year career. He is the founder of EVTechU. Prior to founding EVTechU, he was with Motiv Power Systems, a leading manufacturer of electric commercial trucks and buses. Glaser is passionate about climate change and has taken a leading role in numerous city and county level climate initiatives over three decades.
Currently, he is a Policy Advisory Council Member of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and Advisory Committee Member of Sonoma County Transportation Commission. Glaser has served on the planning commission of two Bay Area cities, as a sustainability commissioner and as chair of the team that created Sunnyvale’s first Climate Action Plan, resulting in the formation of Silicon Valley Clean Energy.
Glaser has a BS in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University with three years of post-degree study in architecture.
Rajesh Mashruwala is the founder or co-founder of a number of technology companies, including TIBCO Software Inc., YieldUp International, Media Computer Technology Inc., and Consilium Inc. Mashruwala was one of the four founding technical members of the world’s largest national identity program, Aadhaar. Aadhaar, the Indian Government's identity program, was designed, built and rolled out in less than fourteen months and enrolled 600 million people in the subsequent four years.
Mashruwala is a Partner Emeritus at Prime Venture Partners. He is the Chairperson of the IIT Bombay Heritage Foundation, and vice chair of Peninsula Open Space Trust.
Mashruwala completed his BTech from IIT Bombay and MS from the University of California, Berkeley.
Piyush Shah founded Hi-Rel Electronics Ltd. He was the managing director of Hi-Rel for 34 years until its acquisition by Hitachi, Japan. Shah stepped down from Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics Pvt. Ltd..
He is passionately pursuing new ventures in the field of Energy Management Systems and renewable energy field. Shah was the Chairman of Gujarat State Council of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)). He is a Senior Member of IEEE and an Expert member in the Post Graduate Board at Nirma Institute of Technology, Ahmedabad. Shah was an Executive Council Member of Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA).
Shah holds a B. Tech. (Electrical) from IIT Bombay.
Caleb Lander is a Senior Product Manager with over 10 years of experience in the technology sector including renewable energy, electric vehicles, and power electronics at Motiv Power Systems, Consolidated Metco, and XP Power. He brought his past experience as a hands-on Director of Support to the team as he Co-founded EVTechU.
He is passionate about using technology to create sustainable solutions to today's energy challenges. Lander’s early sustainability career started at SolarCity, where he was responsible for the advanced monitoring and analysis of grid-tied photovoltaic power systems. Most recently, Lander was responsible for the product management of high-performance power conversion products at XP Power where he supported the company's sustainability team in developing strategies to reduce the environmental impact of the company’s products.
Lander is a graduate of the University of Maine, where he studied engineering and sustainability.
Kim Wyatt is a project manager with 25 years of experience in education and IT publishing. She is the founder of the award-winning independent press Bona Fide Books.
Wyatt has a BSN from Humbold State University and an MFA from University of Alaska Anchorage.
